Children in Curaçao are celebrating new goals as AFC Ajax and Sandals Resorts launch Future Goals, a design-driven initiative transforming ocean waste into vibrant football goals. By repurposing fishing nets and plastic, this project blends sustainability with sport, empowering young players. With Ajax-designed training programs and new equipment for schools.
Ajax and Sandals were looking for a vibrant, locally inspired design that aligns with the core mission of this initiative. Future Goals is all about inspiring the next generation—giving them the opportunity to play, learn, and grow through football.
A bright color palette, a bold font system, and playful icons form the foundation of the Future Goals campaign identity. Beyond the visuals, we also designed the actual goals—crafted from recycled plastic bottles and fishing nets—bringing sustainability and purpose to the initiative.
